CarPro Descale is a new acid-based shampoo. Descale was designed to revive ceramic tiles that have suffered from the accumulation of mineral deposits on them.

Over time, minerals (also known as watermarks) that are sometimes not easily detected will saturate and cause a reduction in the smoothness of the surface. This creates heavy surface tension which does not allow water and dirt to easily slide off the surface. Descale shampoo was created to remove and dissolve these persistent minerals from ceramic-coated and even uncoated surfaces. Dissolving the accumulation of minerals that reduce shine, it restores the smoothness of the ceramic coating as well as returning its hydrophobic characteristics reduced by minerals.

Despite being a fantastic shampoo that frees ceramic coatings and latest generation sealants (such as Hydro2 and HydroFoam) from encrusted mineral deposits, Descale is not the correct shampoo for regular washing, especially cars with waxes or sealants. We recommend Descale for cars coated with abundant mineral deposits, for quarterly maintenance washes and for neglected cars with water marks or as the initial preparation step before decontamination and subsequent detail steps. Like many other CarPro products, Descale can be used in several steps, such as: removing waxes and sealants, preparing paintwork for polishing, degreasing after polishing, removing dirt and minerals on coated and uncoated vehicles during car washes. regular maintenance.

When to use:

• Cars coated with CQUARTZ that are subject to hard water
• Cars coated with ceramics that have lost their hydrophobicity or shine
• Neglected automobiles
• As the first step in complete detail

When not to use:

• If your car has a carnauba wax or polymer sealant and you don't want to re-wax or re-seal it
• As a regular weekly wash. For regular washes, use CarPro's excellent Reset

Characteristics:

Indications:

• Dilute 1:100 for washing with a bucket or 1:10 with a foam lance (with a hydro washer or manual)
• For light contamination, use Descale as "snow foam" and allow it to act for as long as possible (without letting it dry) before rinsing. Proceed with a manual wash
• For heavier contamination: wash panel by panel starting with the horizontal ones (bonnet, roof, trunk). Wash the panel and let Descale act for as long as possible without letting it dry.
• Repeat if necessary
• Rinse vigorously and completely
