Iron X's function is to remove those that are lodged below the surface as well as those that are on the surface.

The contaminants that spread through the air and the iron particles effectively penetrate the painting creating corrosive compounds that deeply corrode the various layers that make up a painting, creating true "needle holes". This is a process that is not evident until it is too late. The use of clay bars does not remove particles that are already lodged below the surface, which will continue to penetrate more and more unless they are dissolved.

During the use of your vehicle, brake dust and contaminants present on the roads fuse with the surface of the vehicle's paintwork as well as the paintwork of the wheels due to the high temperature conditions to which they are normally subjected. Brake dust contains high levels of iron which, once it fuses with the wheel paintwork, becomes extremely difficult to dissolve or remove without the use of very aggressive chemicals. Iron X opens the paint pores to release iron particles and neutralize caustic compounds that have developed beneath the paint surface. Damage is immediately stopped and future damage is prevented by removing iron particles. Iron X vaporizes as a clear liquid. Once cleaning begins to take effect on contaminants, the formula turns purple/red. The purple/red coloring is the Iron More fixed or fused contaminants may require a little agitation with, for example, a brush. Then rinse with water at maximum pressure and dry the surface. Iron X is used by professionals to pre-clean surfaces before detailing and also to prepare for delivery of new and used cars. Instructions:

1. Shake the packaging.
2. You can cover the entire surface with Iron X by vaporizing it, however it may be wasteful. We recommend steaming as needed and spreading with a sponge or applicator to cover the entire surface. You can also use an atomizer like the chemical resistant or even an HLVP pistol. Either way, cover the entire surface you intend to decontaminate. The product is strong enough that no waste is necessary. Just make sure it completely covers the area.
3. Allow the product to act for 5 minutes in the shade. Do not allow it to dry in the sun. In light colors you will see the product dissolving the iron particles by turning purple/red. Exactly the same happens in dark colors, it's just more difficult to visualize the color change effect.
4. After allowing it to act, use a damp sponge or cloth (not saturated) and shake the surface.
5. Rinse the surface very well.
6. Don't forget to also rinse the applicator/cloth/brush you used.

Precautions:

• Use outdoors or with sufficient ventilation.
• If there is an unusually large amount of contaminants on the surface such as tree sap, tar, organic material, waxes or sealants then we recommend using Iron Tar X so that the former can have maximum effectiveness in eliminating iron particles.
• For best results apply to dry or practically dry surfaces. A few drops of water are acceptable.
